For the third time in a row, the Faculty of Architecture at Graz University of Technology was invited to take part in the International Construction Festival at Tongji University in Shanghai. The theme of the international competition was the design and construction of a pavilion made of 30 polypropylene panels measuring 180 x 180 cm. The five students Emir Dostovic, Jana Engel, Fabian Steinberger, Paul Zenz and Magdalena Zoller, who had previously been selected in a competition at Graz University of Technology, designed and built a pavilion from a self-developed structural element made of folded polypropylene panels in just four days. With the self-developed modules, the walls and ceiling of the pavilion could be freely positioned on the site.
