Shooting Range Zangtal - Design of a Multifunctional Building

The Zangtal area in Voitsberg has been heavily impacted by coal mining over the past centuries. The economic boom of the Voitsberg district is largely owed to this resource. Today, after years of mining, we are left with a vacant area currently used as a shooting range. To make this historically valuable environment more accessible, a multifunctional complex is proposed. It will not only serve hunting and firearms enthusiasts but also offer individual visitors a chance to engage with the Zangtal area, with its unique topography, and reflect on themes of hunting and firearms.
