In October 2023, around 200 students started their first semester at Kronesgasse with the Beginners Workshop. Divided into 12 studio groups, the students spent the first two days developing a labyrinth made of paper, wooden strips and cardboard. On the third day, they built their designs on the site of Club Hybrid at Herrgottwiesgasse 161 on a 1:1 scale using wooden slats and black fabric. The aim was to develop a construction as uniform as possible and to build an exciting walk-in sculpture. Finally, the students presented their ideas and the publicly accessible labyrinth was opened with a large, self-made buffet and music.
