In the fall of 2024, the elective course Architectural Models I was conducted in collaboration with the University of Maribor, focusing on exploring the hidden potential of existing buildings. Students from TU Graz and the University of Maribor worked in groups, initially engaging in an in-depth analysis of selected projects. They then created models in pairs, highlighting the valuable architectural features of reference projects at various scales. The two central themes were Building in Existing Structures and Hybrid Typologies. The model-making process took place at the architectural model workshop of TU Graz. In addition to regular lectures, discussions, and presentations held in both Graz and Maribor, the seminar concluded with an exhibition at Hiža Arhitekture in Maribor. The final models were also published in a brochure.
