The old school building at Kronesgasse has been the main location for teaching in the first two semesters. The building houses the studios for all first-year students. The hall is used for lectures and events. The Architectural Model Workshop is available to the entire faculty and is used in particular by many graduate students. The storage serves as a teaching aid if working materials are needed at short notice. The office space of the KOEN Institute is close by in case of task-specific or organizational questions. The courtyard and terrace not only offer plenty of space to relax and unwind, but are also regularly used for seminars. The Kronesgasse is an essential part of the KOEN Institute's teaching concept.
