A discovery can be described as finding what was already there but not yet known. Much of the teaching at the KOEN Institute takes place in the first year of study. Here, for most students, almost everything that is already known to people with experience is new knowledge. Students are constantly making discoveries in a wide variety of courses, from lectures to construction and design exercises. The task of the KOEN Institute is to sensitize students to these discoveries and to open and train their perception for the supposedly new.
