Constructive Fundamentals of Architectural Design
The topic of the habilitation thesis is the interrelationship between architectural design and architectural construction. The design process is developed and presented as an act of bringing into the world, in which rationality and intuition do not oppose each other counter-productively, but rather their creative simultaneity describes the reflection in the design action and the constructive solutions that are inextricably linked with it. The subject of the investigation is not the exclusively technical-constructive process of building or manufacturing, but rather construction is examined, defined and shown as a series of different intellectual and practical-technical achievements that are involved in the creation of the design.
