
In 2015 the excursion in the second semester of the architecture course took place in Berlin in the second week of May. 131 students and seven lecturers walked many kilometers to explore the city. Important areas and special buildings were explored and analyzed using various mapping and sketching exercises. The excursion focused on the semester Subject Matter Housing. During the excursion, the students were able to compare contemporary buildings with the Berlin housing estates from the 1920s, the residential buildings from the Stalin era, the buildings at the Hansaviertel from the 1950s and the residential buildings from the International Building Exhibition from the 1980s. Of course Berlin's lively nightlife was also part of the excursion program.
