The Student Hotel - an impulse for the activation of the public spaces of Veliko Tarnovo

The impetus for this project was the Interhotel - one of the jewels of modernist architecture in Bulgaria, which shares the sad fate of many buildings from the same period. The work attempts to explain the reasons for this contradiction and to change the perception of this architectural masterpiece by integrating it into the urban fabric and transforming it from a place of separation into a place of togetherness and exchange.
