Sukzession - Revitalization of the Historical Botanical Garden of the University of Graz

This work, Succession - Revitalization of the Historical Botanical Garden of the University of Graz, aims to present an idea for breathing new life into a historically valuable, ruinous site with minimal resources, without making extensive alterations to its historic structure. A renovation to meet modern ecological standards and technical requirements would be tantamount to a new construction and would destroy its wild, romantic, almost magical atmosphere. The goal is to preserve the ruinous character of this site, to transform it, and to make the old botanical greenhouse, held in public ownership, accessible to the public once again.
