Exit - Arcadia

The appearance of the building mass is less a reaction to the existing urban ensemble and more an expression of the theme of idyll and its typological interpretation as a nightclub. Thus, the project moves toward a specific, self-referential structure as an expression of the idyllic. The building stands in contrast to the idyllic backdrop of Salzburg, yet it embodies essential structural, antagonistic patterns of the idyllic itself.
