Due to the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 the concept of the Beginners Workshop had to be changed. Instead of working out a design concept and turning it into reality by building it, this time the task was to shoot a short film on a given topic. In groups of two to three students a storyboard was drawn in advance which defined the story and the course of the filming. Each group was assigned an architecturally valuable location in the city of Graz. The task was on the one hand to set the scene for the given architecture and on the other hand to stay with the own storyboard. All the films were edited together to create a visual walk through Graz, which was shown during an exhibition at the Haus der Architektur.
