During the first three days of their studies 160 architecture students designed and built the exhibition architecture for the GAD Awards at Kronesgasse. The students were divided into small groups and each group was assigned a diploma project selected for the GAD Awards. The exhibition architecture was designed in the first two days using 1:10 scale models and translated into 1:1 scale on the third day and built from wooden slats and white cardboard panels. The newcomers thus designed for the graduates of the Faculty of Architecture. The entire Kronesgasse was used and the students appropriated the studios, the architectural model workshop, the hall, the corridor and the staircase. The exhibition was opened with a grand award ceremony on October 12th 2018.
