Girls' Dormitory in Kisii / Kenya
In the winter semester of 2012, I was a member of the MOJO project, in which 18 students jointly financed, planned and built a school in Tanzania as part of a course. This project awakened my enthusiasm for socially committed architecture. With my diploma thesis, I would now like to take on my responsibility as a young architect in this field and plan a tangible project. Due to the project in Tanzania, I became more intensively involved with the topic of building in the New World and the associated simplicity and reduction. The demand from the pendaKenia association for a girls' dormitory at the Onsando Girls Secondary School in Sotik / Kenya, sparked my interest in working on this topic in my thesis.
