Revivescere – Revitalization of the old train station building in Sanski Most

The diploma thesis Revivescere - Revitalization of the old railroad station building in Sanski Most tries to explain how to preserve and restore a historic and listed building in a rural environment. It also shows how this building can be revitalized by giving it a new function. Due to many years of unresolved ownership, the building was abandoned and completely neglected by the municipality and the state. In 2013, the old station building was listed as one of the most important historical buildings in Sanski Most, but this has not led to an improvement in the dire situation. Revivescere, or reviving, is the idea of giving the listed station building a new lease of life. This is made possible by the renovation, adaptation and new use as a cultural centre.
