In addition to teaching the first year students and elective subjects in architecture, the KOEN Institute also supervises master's theses. The end of the architecture degree programme is marked by a final presentation and defence of the student's own project. The aim of a master thesis is to develop both a theoretical analysis and a design on a topic chosen by the students themselves, such as a new construction or a redesign of an existing structure.
