Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the excursion in the second semester of the architecture degree programme took place in May 2020 within the students own four walls and immediate surroundings. The students were asked to closely observe, document and analyse their own microworld – the same room and its details every day due to the lockdown – using sketches, notes and photographs. Various tasks formed the basis of the excursion. By exploring the built environment, the students architectural, urban planning and landscape perception was to be trained. The students work was documented in the publication Journey through the everyday.
