In 2017, the Faculty of Architecture at Graz University of Technology was invited to take part in the International Construction Festival at Tongji University in Shanghai for the second time. The five students Robert Anagnostopoulos, Tobias Figlmüller, Johannes Kummer, Angelika Mayr and Desiree Wurnitsch, who had previously been selected in an anonymous competition, had to design and build a pavilion from 30 polypropylene sheets within four days. With their construction, they achieved 2nd place out of around 20 international and around 40 Chinese teams.
